零 ~濡鴉ノ巫女~ ─═ Scenery

Hifumi Kouno, the creator of the survival horror classic Clock Tower, has announced the development of a new horror game for iOS, Android and the PlayStation Vita that will be the spiritual successor to the Clock Tower series. Director and writer Takashi Shimizu, best known for his horror creation Ju-On (The Grudge), also joins the project as creative producer and will be directing a live action teaser for the game as well.

Of course the pièce de résistance and what is the most exciting about this announcement, is that creature designer and art director of Silent Hill one through three, Masahiro Ito, will be the creature and prop designer on the project. With so many masters of fright attached to this project, could this become one of the scariest games to come our way? If Masahiro Ito creates anything like he did in the older Silent Hill games, I’m sure we are all in for some wonderful and terrifying scares.

Project Scissors will take players aboard a luxurious cruise liner in the middle of the ocean. As the ship sails across the deep blue, a series of gruesome and mysterious murders begin to take place, including those of the ship’s crew. Soon the ocean liner is crippled and adrift at sea, and has become an inescapable trap for the passengers. As a passenger of the ship, the player will be tasked with solving the murder mystery to ensure their own survival as well as the rest of the ‘innocent’ passengers.
